The new Ford B-MAX challenges traditional small car thinking and pioneers a concept not attempted by any other manufacturer. Its ingenious design opens the doors – quite literally – to exciting new ideas about what's possible with a compact vehicle.

Safety is a number one focus for the B-Max - featuring a steel cage running through all four doors - the spacious Ford B-MAX is clean, clever and clutter-free with unobstructed entry and exit with hinged front and sliding rear doors. With unique design which integrates the traditional central pillar structure into the front and rear doors, rather than forming part of the bodyshell itself.

The unique Ford Easy Access Door System delivers new levels of convenience, flexibility and access with a clear aperture of more than 1.5 metres wide, making attending to children, or loading and unloading shopping, significantly easier.

The award-winning 1.0-litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine is available in two versions. The entry-level B-MAX Ambiente produces 74kW while the mid-range Trend and range-topping Titanium derivatives boast a 92kW output. Both versions feature a peak torque of 170Nm. Combined cycle fuel consumption is rated as low as 4.9 l/100km matched to a CO2 emissions figure of 114 g/km for the 92kW models.

A contemporary cabin, with quality material use throughout the interior, emphasises craftsmanship and detailing, with comfort features including an exclusive Sony audio system, keyless entry, Ford Power Start Button, Ford MyKey® functionality, rear-view camera and leather-trimmed upholstery on the range topping model.
