At CMH STEYN’S Ford, changes have been taking place, as have a few new faces in the building. This change is happening all because we want to enhance the service you receive from us and make it nothing other than excellent.
Because you are part of our Family, we want you to meet the new faces behind the excellent service CMH Steyn’s Ford renders.
As a New Vehicle Sales Exec, Juran Bekker began his career in the motor industry learning everything from scratch, but that was his goal because it was his first break into the industry. He pursued great results and provided excellent customer service.
He started in one of our sister branches where he learned and perfected his craft, Juran then got a promotion to a position as a New Vehicles Sales Manager.
CMH Steyn’s Ford welcomed Mr Bekker as our Dealer Principal in March 2021. According to Juran, he has a passion for people and providing excellent customer service. For him, the best result is a satisfied customer whether it is in the Service Department, New Vehicle Sales, Pre-owned Vehicle Sales and Parts Department since every customer is special and should be treated as such under his leadership.
Juran says his goal is to give CMH Steyn’s Ford a complete overhaul as part of the initiative to revive business in Pretoria CBD and provide our customers with a world-class dealership experience.
NEW VEHICLES SALES MANAGER:
Eugene Greeff started his career in the motor industry with Nissan, Alfa & Fiat in 2004 as a sales executive after growing up on the farm. He began his career in 2007 as a sales manager and moved to full-time management later in his career.
As Eugene rose through the ranks, he later became a Regional Manager, and then a Dealer Principal. 3 dealerships have gone from average-performing to top-10 in less than a year in their various categories under his guidance.
As Eugene makes clear, “What drives me is my work and our products”. He recalls growing up around his father’s Ford Cortina bakkie, which fascinated him from a young age.
Eugene believes attitude plays a major role in life. He says that a smile on the faces of customers makes every day fruitful. “Knowing that you help people with one of the biggest investments in their lives makes every second super.
Customer satisfaction is his highest priority, and a customer’s smile is his best reference.
PRE-OWNED VEHICLES SALES MANAGER:
In addition to over 30 years of experience in the motor industry, Norman Chauke started as a sales exec before working his way up.
Drive and dedication will always result in excellent results according to Norman.
He is passionate about customer service and has a positive attitude towards his work. Norman says in the department that he is in, the customer needs to trust you and what you are offering and states that that’s where honesty and integrity come in.
In his opinion, you should put the needs of your customers first and assist them as much as possible.
Through the years he also learned that as a manager you must take care of your staff, as they will take care of your customers, and happy customers will always bring you more business.
SERVICE / WORKSHOP MANAGER:
Jacques Claassen is a joyous and eager professional who says his focus is to deliver outstanding customer service. He has worked in the service industry for over 22 years. His highest priority is to arrive at work well before the job starts so that he is prepared for the schedule ahead.
Being involved in all aspects of the service department is also very important to him. He assists in checking in all the customers each morning, chatting with them as he does so.
One thing he emphasizes as he rarely sits at a desk is being hands-on in the actual work in the workshop, asking for information from technicians, workshop foreman, and service advisors about every single vehicle in the workshop, and stating how important customers are to him.
As well as believing in teamwork, he says if there is teamwork, everyone works towards the same goal and the results of teamwork are always excellent. He says in the 22 years of service he has learned that if you look after your customers, they will look after you.
